Or, we are all characters who are arguing about how to cross the wide wide river when suddenly we realize that we have to work together to complete the task...

We are standing in a circle and using our imaginations to practice showing the feelings of a character from a story we just read before we act out the whole story...

"The Laundry Song" from Lafraia

Or, we've created our own world based on the ecosystem we've just studied and are about to create a script that we will rehearse and present at the end of the week to the other classrooms in our grade.

We are participating in DramaWeaving,

a unique approach to drama that emphasizes the individual creative process and exploration of ideas, concepts, or curriculum areas while presenting opportunities to build community and practice teamwork.

In a world where face-to-face communication is often replaced by a screen,
DramaWeaving is a creative way to practice problem-solving, imaginative thinking, teamwork, and making personal connections in a fun, safe environment.

Whether they are engaged in a storytelling exercise in Creative Drama, creating their own script for performance, or experiencing a lesson from the curriculum, DramaWeaving provides opportunities for participants to explore their own creativity while learning how to work as a team.
